GAL 2026 Art Scholarship

Up to $600 will be awarded to one or more graduating seniors. 

Scholarship applications are due by March 26, 2026. 

Scholarship Details

  • The 2026 GAL Scholarship is open to all high school seniors graduating in 2026. 

  • Seniors may be graduating from any type of school including public, private, charter or homeschool.

  • The scholarship is intended for artists continuing their education in college, trade schools, or apprenticeships.

  • The ideal candidate is a student who plans to major or minor in visual art, or a field that uses art. 

Application Process

  1. Submit the Scholarship Application below.

  2. Provide two letters of reference (one must be from an art teacher, and one must address academic achievement). 

  3. Provide three examples of your work through video. Submit a one minute video of your work, briefly describing each piece. Include how you created it and what it portrays. 

  4. The letters of reference and video should be emailed to: greenvilletxartleague@gmail.com by March 26, 2026.
